Jamaican music and style were a huge influence on this particular group. Soon, wearing fred perry, levis 501, braces and some doc martens with white laces were worn like uniforms. A majority from the working class they aspired to keep a very clean and elegant look. Through the decades this look was soon adopted and perverted.
